A school uniform is an inherent and recognisable feature of a British School.
The aim of the uniform code is to present a smart appearance whilst feeling comfortable and to avoid any form of discrimination based on what children wear. All children are expected to wear the correct uniform whilst at school and other forms of clothing will not be allowed. All items must be clearly marked with the child’s name. Girls' hair accessories must be black, navy or white. The uniform shop holds a stock of hairbands and ties to match the summer uniform.
Children wear black leather shoes, with velcro fastening for children in primary. Ballet flats, trainers , boots, sandals and other forms of footwear will not be accepted. You are not required to buy the shoes from the uniform shop but we keep stock in all sizes of locally produced, high-quality leather shoes at very competitive prices. Trainers should be non-marking, in white if possible, and are required only for PE lessons. Other items of uniform should be bought at the school’s uniform shop.
